Derik's Bane by Mary Janice Davidson

Derik's Bane
by Mary Janice Davidson
Derik knows he will have to leave the Pack soon. Two Alphas cannot co-exist. However, when their resident psychic sees the world coming to an end, Derik is sent to take care of the problem. But when he meets Dr Sara Gunn, he just cannot kill her. When he explains that she is the reincarnated Morgan Le Fay, Sara just laughs at him. But when she starts to put the pieces of the puzzle together, she cannot deny the logic and when her mentor confirms it, she will have to face reality. Her acceptance of the situation sends her on a cross-country trip with Derik to face down the forces who are after her and they will have to save the world together.
I admit, I have not had a chance to read a MaryJanice Davidson book until now, despite having several of her Betsy books on my shelf. After reading Derik’s Bane, I need to find time to rectify that oversight. Derik’s Bane had me in stitches. There were quite a few parts where I just had to laugh out loud. Sara could be ditzy at times, but she was still a funny and intriguing character. Derik was a typical Alpha werewolf, with quite a sense of humor. I admired him when he made the call to find out what was going in Sara’s world, but as the reader will find out, he did not have much choice.
Derik’s Bane is a fun and exciting read and it is a must-have for any MaryJanice Davidson fan. If you have never read this amusing author, this one is a must-add to your list.

I give this book
