Classic Elite Quick Knits

Buy it now from
Barnes and Noble or Amazon

What is the book about?

Classic Elite Quick Knits has a wide variety of skill level and patterns, varying from scarves to fingerless gloves and much more in between. Complete with explanations of abbreviations and yarns which makes this book easy to read along with a list of substitute yarns to be used throughout the book.

What did I think of the book?

I'm constantly looking for good knit books that have a variety of patterns that I want to do. Some books only have one or two patterns that catch your eyes but they aren't really worth the price of the whole book. This book has an amazing amount of patterns that all seemed like great projects I'm excited to start.

I've been on a fingerless glove obsession and this book is loaded with a bunch of patterns for fingerless gloves! There are so many different patterns that you must check it out for yourself.
I give this book
Elizabeth Barbarick's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)

    Hi Elizabeth!
    You surprised me today! :)
Didn't peg you for a knitter. I loved to knit when I was a kid (my mommy taught me - grin) but I lost the art. Would be great to get into it again. I remember it being quite calming. From reviewing this book, do you think it would be beginner friendly? I would have to relearn the skill for sure.

I've been knitting since I was 8 years old. This would be a great book to keep around as you increase your skill level since it has such a wide variety skill level patterns.

I like to keep a helpful reminder books(i.e. Exercises in Knitting by Cornelia Mee or Stitch 'n Bitch Superstar Knitting: Go Beyond the Basics by Debbie Stoller) always within reach when doing a pattern from a book. It has illustrations and descriptions of every type of stitch and technique.

I also met some great knitters out at a local yarn shop where everyone is very friendly and will help you hands on so you can finish a project. I highly suggest finding something like that in your area. Just going out once a week for an hour or two will really help you finish an awesome project you'll be super proud of. And all the grandmas who belong to the yarn shops are usually quite entertaining!!
